Installing USB-Serial Converter driver
Use the supplied USB-Serial converter to control the PE-1from a PC without a serial port.
*Operation is only guaranteed if the designated USB-Serial Converter is used.

When the USB-Serial
Converter is connected to the
PC, the “Found New Hardware
wizard” will automatically start.
Select “No, …” and click
NEXT.
(2)
Insert the CD-ROM supplied
with the converter, select
“Install from a list or specific
location (Advanced)”, and then
click NEXT.
(3)
Select “Search for the best
driver in these locations”, and
check “Include this location in
the search”, and then select
“Q:¥USB Driver (REX-
USB60F)” using the “Browse”
button.
*The drive letter may differ
depending on the PC being used.
The above denotes the case where
the driver is in the Q drive.

A window warning that the
driver has not passed the
Windows Logo Testing will
appear.
Click Continue Anyway.
