Connecting an R100 chassis to an Ethernet network

A 100Base-TX/1000Base-T NIC

Push the cable with the RJ-45 
connector into the RJ-45 port on 
the NIC, until it clicks and locks 
into place.

The following illustration shows a UTP cable with an RJ-45 
connector connecting to a single-port 100Base-TX/1000Base-T NIC.

Note

The NIC is labeled 10/100/1000-TX; however, the chassis supports 
only 100Base-TX/1000Base-T.
