About replacing the
NVRAM III battery
The NVRAM adapter has one detached, sealed, lead-acid battery that is
recharged whenever the system is turned on and operating normally. If the battery
continues to read low after 24 hours of normal system operation, you must
replace the battery or the NVRAM III adapter.
Note
The NVRAM III adapter in the R100 is different from the NVRAM adapter in
other models of NetApp chassis and, therefore, is not interchangeable with
NVRAM adapters from other models of NetApp chassis.
