The following explains LEDs of WL1500-AP.

Active Scan is a function that searches rogue APs through the network.
Note.
When Access Point is powered on, the Access Point lights on in the following:
1. Status Lamp lights orange.
2. Status Lamp lights green and orange alternatively.
3. When all the settings are completed, the Status Lamp lights green.

Lights green
Indicates normal operation in the following:
- Access Point has booted normally
- Access Point is making connection with a WL Controller
- One of radios is valid, or multiple radios are invalid but the
scanning is active (sentry mode).
Lights orange
Indicates the Access Point is not attributed to WL Controller
Flashes green and
orange
alternatively
Indicates the Access Point is attributed to WL Controller but
Radio is in disabled status or Access Point is booting up

2.4GHz Lamp
Lights green
Indicates a client is being associated with radio.
Flashes green
Indicates a client associated with radio is communicating via the
radio.
Lights orange
Indicates radio and the active scan (

) both are inactive.
Flashes orange
Indicates a client that is not associated with radio is trying to
communicate via radio.
Flashes green and
orange
alternatively
Indicates radio cannot transmits signals.
- AP is not able to transmit beacon.
- Radio is faulty.
Lights off
Indicates the following:
- Radio is not active while active scan (

) is enabled (Sensory
mode)
- Radio is active, however, client is not yet associated with it.
