Note.
ALM lamp lights ON when FAN alarm or power failure occurs.
Note.
LINK lamp lights ON while WL Controller is making connections.When the
Controller established a high-speed connection, the blinking lamp might be difficult to
see; you might see it as light-off. Note that this is not system fault but performance
specifications.
External Interface
The following explains the external interface.
Note.
Because SCA-WL10 does not use a battery but a super capacitor, if the
Controller remains power-off for 20 hours or more, Time and BIOS information will be
lost. In this case, the following procedures are required:
- If Network Time Protocol (NTP) Service is available in the network, use Automated
Retrieve via NTP.
- If NTP Service is unavailable in the network, assign the current time manually.
External Interface
Remarks
Four-Position DIP Switch
This switch is attached on the inside of the front cover, and used to
set the Controller to factory default settings.

USB Port
This is not used at current version (for future use).
Ether1 Connector
RJ45 Port is attached on the front.
Either 10BASE-T or 100BASE-TX is available
PC Card
This is attached on the inside of the front cover.
This PC card is used to save the settings and system image files in the
SCA-WL10.
