Using WebView
Select
[Monitoring]
-
[Summary]
to display information on the Booted
Configuration area.
Backup into TFTP Server
WL Controller can copy the configuration file into TFTP Server by using TFTP
Client function. To back up the configuration file into TFTP Server, use the
following:
Using CLI
Use
backup system {TFTP Sever address and file name}
.
For example, save config file as System-backup against TFTP Server.
The backup file contains the following information.
- All the configuration files
- Digital certificate file
If you do not want to back up the above but only the boot configuration file,
put an optional parameter “critical” after the command. For example:

Backup file will be saved in tar format (.tar) of UNIX.
Using WebView
Select
[Commands]
-
[Backup System]
to display the Booted Configuration.
And then specify necessary information and click the
Backup
button.
The following will be saved in TFTP Server
- All configuration file (when
all
is typed as optional parameter)
- Boot configuration file (when
critical
is typed as optional parameter)
- Digital certificate file
Restore Configuration File
Restore backup configuration file saved in Flash Card
After you back up the data into Flash Card, WL Controller reads its configuration
when restarts.
