9-46 Upgrading Your Server

Installation

Install a memory board in the following procedure.

Hold the both edges (blue marking) of the memory board.

Insert the memory board into the guides at both ends of the electronics bay.

Align the board with the connector on the processor board and press down on the board
until it is fully inserted into the connector.

IMPORTANT:

To avoid damaging the memory board and DIMM, do

not tilt the board while pressing down to the system.

Reinstall the removed components.
