Step 5 :
Place one side of the roll over the flange of the locked unit.
Step 6 :
Slide the flange of the other roll unit into the roll and lock the unit by using the its handle.
Step 7 :
You can now de-lock both sides to do adjustment of the position of the roll. The middle of the roll
has to correspond to the middle of the printing space. After adjustment, lock both roll units again.
Step 8 :
Install an empty core between the motorized roll unit and roll unit of the winder unit on front of the
printer.
Notes
•
We recommend to wear cotton gloves to avoid fingerprints on the inkjet fabric.
4.5.2 Loading the fabric into the printer
Procedure:
Step 1 :
Verify that :
•
the printer and UW/W 100 are both ON,
•
the front cover of the printer is open, and
•
the pressure rollers are in the UP position.
Step 2 :
Set the both unwinder (REAR) and winder (FRONT) to MANUAL mode.
Step 3 :
Use the foot switch to release fabric on the rear.
Step 4 :
Load the fabric (3) through the rear tensioning system (2) as shown below.
1 = Unwinder system
2 = Rear tensioning system
3 = Fabric
