3.6 CONNECTING THE PRINTER
Please find below some instructions how to connect the printer to your PC.
3.6.1 Connecting the printer to your PC
3.6.1.1 System requirements
To use your printer with the driver, you need a PC that comply with the following system requirements :
System OS
Windows NT 4.0 / 2000 / XP
CPU
Pentium IV 1 GHz or higher
Memory (RAM)
512 MB or more
Hard disk space
10 GB or more
Notes

The memory requirements may vary depending on the type of applications you are using and the
complexity of the document you want to print.
•
MUTOH recommends you to use a hard disk and RAM memory as large as possible.
3.6.1.2 Selecting cables
This printer is compatible with following interfaces :

Network
interface
The following cables are necessary to connect your printer to the computer. Prepare appropriate cables
according to the computer to be connected.

Centronics interface: Centronics interface cable
¾
Network interface: 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX Ethernet cable that is compatible with both.
