Right Cover
This is opened to remove jammed paper or to change the drum cartridge.

Right Cover Release Lever (C1) Pull up on this to open the right cover.

Right Lower Cover
This is opened to remove jammed paper.

Bypass Tray
This is used to copy or print special or custom paper, such as postcards and
envelopes. (see page 1-26)

Extension Tray
This is extended when loading large-size paper.

Paper Loading Guide
This is adjusted to match the width of the paper to prevent skewing.

Slide Plate
This is pulled when the paper in the bypass tray jams.

Slide Plate Knob
(C3) This controls the movement of the slide plate.

Right Lower Cover Release

Pull up on this to open the right lower cover.

Paper Level Indication Window
The red shown in this area increases as the level of the paper in the paper
tray decreases.

This catches originals after they have been scanned.

Document Output Extension Tray This is extended when catching long document.

USB Port
The machine can be used as a printer by connecting it to a computer via a
USB cable.
