All the housing components of the SCR system which might come into contact with reducing agent or ammo-
nia are made of stainless steel. The SCR systems are jacketed and include insulation to minimize heat loss
and moderate the surface temperature to approx. 200 °C.
The DCMs, supply and dosing units (SU/DU), RA lines, exhaust sensors and electrical wiring harness are pre-
installed on delivery of the SCR system.
As the exhaust gas aftertreatment system fulfills the function of an exhaust silencer, no additional mounting
space is required in many cases.
