Throttle flap after intercooler – Teach-in routine initiation
Important information
The servomotor must complete a teach-in routine to “learn” its stops and adjust positions accordingly be-
tween them.
Functional capability and wear are also established in the course of the teach-in routine.
The teach-in routine is initiated automatically when the Engine Control Unit is connected to the power sup-
ply. The throttle flap does not execute any other teach-in routine if the Engine Control Unit remains switch-
ed on for a longer period of time.
1.
Disconnect the Engine Control Unit briefly and then reconnect the power supply.
Result:
The ECU executes the teach-in routine during booting.
2.
The teach-in routine can also be initiated by the software with the “Reset controllers” function (→ Dialog sys-
tem DiaSys® E531920/..).
