Unscrew drain screw (1) and drain charge-air
coolant at thermostat housing.

Open drain valve (2) and drain charge-air
coolant at charge-air coolant pump.
7.
Drain remaining coolant at intercooler (ar-
rowed).
8.
Use a torque wrench to tighten drain valve on charge-air coolant pump to specified tightening torque.

Screw in drain screws on thermostat housing and intercooler with new sealing rings.

Position valve cover on filler neck at coolant expansion tank and close.
