Charge-air and exhaust system
The charge-air and exhaust system components are installed at the driving end (KS) and on top of the en-
gine.
The high power and load application requirements of these engine make wide-ranging performance maps
necessary. Continuous improvement of turbocharging and exhaust system design has created engine torque
characteristics which fulfill these requirements.
