Owners are warned that the law may pro-
hibit the following:

the removal or any action in-
tended to render inoperative, on
the part of anyone, if not for
maintenance operations, repair
or substitution, any device or el-
ement incorporated in a new ve-
hicle that is intended to control
noise emissions before pur-
chase or delivery of the vehicle
to the final purchaser, or while it
is in use;
•
use of the vehicle after said de-
vice or constituent element has
been removed or rendered in-
operable.
Check the muffler/exhaust silencer and
the silencer pipes, making sure there are
no signs of rust and that the exhaust sys-
tem works properly.
In the case that the noises produced by
the exhaust system increase, immediate-

Contrôler le pot d'échappement/silen-
cieux et les tuyaux du silencieux, en s'as-
surant qu'il n'y a pas de traces de
corrosion perforante et que le système
d'échappement fonctionne correctement.
