Traction Loss (245)
Traction only. The travel distance determined from motor rotation is less
than half or greater than twice the travel distance determined from the
landing system. This fault is retained over a power cycle. (Traction only)
1. On inspection operation, verify that the drive is calibrated to move the
elevator at the requested speed.
2. Verify landing system connections.
U/DETS-LS Speed High (420)
Traction only. The LS-EDGE has detected an overspeed at one of the ter-
minal ETS magnets. This fault and message are generated when SPD0 =
Low and SPD1 = Low.
Correction:
1. Verify SPD0 and SPD1 wires are connected.
2. Verify overspeed settings.
3. Relearn terminal switches (Utils > Landing System Utilities > Terminal
Switch Learn).
UFE/PM Stuck Off (142)
Up Fast Enable or Primary Motor contactor output is stuck off.
Correction:
1. Verify status of output.
UFE/PM Stuck On (141)
Up Fast Enable or Primary Motor contactor output is stuck on.
Correction:
1. Verify status of output.
Unknown Fault (166)
Generated by safety processor SPC. Appears only in the Event Log. SPC
received an unidentified error code. May occur after unsuccessful soft-
ware update. Cannot be bypassed.
Correction:
1. If after unsuccessful update, repeat update procedure.
USB Drive Inserted (438)
Momentary message. A USB drive has been inserted into the port on the
SCE-CPU board.
USB Drive Removed (439)
Momentary message. A USB drive has been removed from the port on
the SCE-CPU board.
USB File System Error (455)
The system has detected a problem with the USB drive mounted on the
SCE-CPU board.
Correction:
1. Remove and reinsert USB drive.
2. Replace USB drive.
USE/BR Stuck Off (147)
The Up Slow Enable/Brake Contactor output is stuck off.
Correction:
1. Verify status of output.
USE/BR Stuck On (146)
The Up Slow Enable/Brake Contactor output is stuck on
Correction:
1. Verify status of output.
USL1 is Low (371)
Informational. USL1 input is low.
Correction:
1. If in error, verify function of switch (if physical) and/or input.
USL1 Position High (403)
Traction Only. The car encountered the USL1 switch at a position higher
than that learned during the learn operation. The car will perform an
emergency slowdown then proceed at correction speed to the landing.
Correction:
1. Verify position of switch (software or physical).
2. Repeat learn operation (Utils > Landing System Utilities > Terminal
Switch Learn).
