*1 If both the CQ LED and Q LED flash, a short-circuit has occurred between the L+ and L- terminals.
The US LED, UA LED, LINK LED (P1), L ER LED (P1). LINK LED (P2), and L ER LED (P2) may turn on when
the module is powered on. This behavior does not indicate an error.
(4)
LINK LED(P1)
Indicates the link status of the PORT1 connector.
On: Linkup in progress
Off: Linkdown in progress
L ER LED(P1)
Indicates the port status of the PORT1 connector.
Green: The IO-Link module received normal data.
Green (flashing): The network is configured in ring topology without using the loopback function.
Red: The IO-Link module received abnormal data.
Off: Linkdown in progress
(5)
LINK LED(P2)
Indicates the link status of the PORT2 connector.
On: Linkup in progress
Off: Linkdown in progress
L ER LED(P2)
Indicates the port status of the PORT2 connector.
Green: The IO-Link module received normal data.
Green (flashing): The network is configured in ring topology without using the loopback function.
Red: The IO-Link module received abnormal data.
Off: Linkdown in progress
(6)
CQ LED
Indicates the operating status of the CQ terminal of each channel.
■
In IO-Link mode
Green: Operating normally with IO-Link enabled.
Green (flashing every 0.5s): Communication is stopped with IO-Link enabled.
Green (flashing every 0.3s): Uploading IO-Link device parameters to the data storage, or downloading IO-Link device
parameters from the data storage
Red (flashing): An error is occurring due to any of the following reasons.
• The IO-Link device validation setting is enabled, and an IO-Link device is not compatible or identifiable.
• The data storage configuration is enabled, and an incompatible IO-Link device is connected.
• The configured process data size is smaller than that of the connected IO-Link devices.
• The module/sensor power supply (US) voltage is 13V or less.
Off: IO-Link is disabled.
■
In SIO mode
Orange: I/O is on.
Off: I/O is off.
Red: An I/O setting error has occurred (short-circuit detection).
Red (flashing): An error has occurred (short-circuit detection).
(7)
Q LED
Indicates the operating status of the Q terminal of each channel.
Orange: I/O is on.
Off: I/O is off.
Red: An I/O setting error has occurred (short-circuit detection).
Red (flashing): An error has occurred (short-circuit detection).
No.
