5 INSTALLATION AND WIRING

5.4 Wiring of Ethernet Cable

• Attach waterproof caps to connector not used.
• The product specifications are satisfied only when all of waterproof plugs are installed with the

recommended connectable devices and all screws are tightened with an appropriate torque.

• Communication connectors P1 and P2 need not to be distinguished. When only one connector is used in

star topology, either P1 or P2 can be connected.

• When two connectors are used in line topology or ring topology, an Ethernet cable can be connected to the

connectors in any combination. For example, the cable can be connected between P1s and between P1
and P2.
