Sealed sensor cable
1. Connect your meters with pulse output to the inputs. If you also require channels 3 and 4, cut
through the sealed sensor cable (2) in front of the sealing cap and strip the wires of the cable
in accordance with your requirements.
Important note: Use suitable means to protect the joint between the sensor cable and
meter or connection cable of the meter against the penetration of moisture and dust.
Please note that the myDatalogNANOamr is only protected against damage to the
external cable sheath relating to the penetration of moisture. If the cable sheath of the
wires is also damaged or the joint is not sealed suitably, protection against the
penetration of moisture can no longer be guaranteed.
2. Connect the antenna (see "Connection of the GSM antenna" on page 35).
3. Initiate ALOHA transmission mode (see "ALOHA transmission mode" on page 23). The status
LED should then start to flicker (see "Status LED" on page 46), indicating that a connection is
being established.
Note: If the myDatalogNANOamr is still in transport mode, the transport lock is deactivated by the initiation
of ALOHA transmission mode and the device starts to operate in accordance with the configuration.
The following step is not mandatory.
4. Check whether the connection to the myDataweb has worked correctly (see "Testing
communication with the device" on page 43).
