5. Complete the steps in reverse order to insert the new battery pack. During this process, ensure
that the connection cable of the negative pin of the battery pack (black cable) is between the
battery pack and retaining bracket.
6. Reconnect the connector of the battery pack to the supply connector of the device. Just like
when the connection was disconnected, avoid applying excessive force and insert the con-
nector of the battery pack as straight as possible into the supply connector.
Important note: Observe the polarity of the battery pack connector.
The following step is not mandatory.
7. Check whether the connection to the myDataweb functions correctly (see "Testing com-
munication with the device" on page 43).
8. Close the housing cover. The best option is to tighten the four screws crosswise (torque
0,5Nm) so that the housing cover is positioned evenly.
Important note: Ensure that the seals are clean and intact before closing the housing
cover. Remove any impurities and/or dirt. The manufacturer shall not be liable for any
damage to the device caused by leaky or faulty seals.
9. Check that the housing cover is positioned correctly on all sides and that no foreign materials
have been trapped between the housing and housing cover.
Important note: The manufacturer is not liable for any damage that is caused by hous-
ing covers that are not closed correctly.
