Match Length
Default:

Defines the length of the character string that will be compared with that of the mas-
ter label when Match Code Type is set to Enabled or Sequential and Match Start posi-
tion is set to 1 or greater. For example, if Match Length is set to 6 in a 10 character
label, and Match Start Position is set for 2, only the 2nd through 7th characters (from
left to right) will be compared.
New Master Pin

Enabled
Enabling New Master Pin will allow you to momentarily connect the New Master Pin to
ground (must be held low for a minimum of 10 ms) in order to record the next good
read as the new master label information for Master Label #1.
This pin will not work for any of the other master labels in the data base.
Note
: Master label # 1 remains unchanged until the scanner decodes a label.
Increment or Decrement

The scanner will compare labels or portions of labels for numbers in ascending or
descending order.
Sequence On Noread

Enabled, Disabled
When enabled, the scanner sequences on every noread. For example, if the scanner
decodes 001 and 002, followed by a noread, then search for 004.
When disabled, the scanner does not sequence (increment or decrement) on a
noread.
Sequence On Every Mismatch

Disabled, Enabled
When disabled, if a mismatch is out of sequence by no more than 1, then the
sequence resumes and searches indefinitely. For example, if 001, 002, 004 (mis-
match), then search for 005.
When enabled, the scanner sequences on every mismatch. For example, if 001, 002,
mismatch, then search for 004. If mismatch again, then search for 005.
