Master Label
You can access
Master Label
from the
Utilities
menu.
When a master label has been defined, scanned labels are compared with the mas-
ter label and under certain conditions output signals may be output and internal
counters advanced.
You can receive and edit the current master labels from your scanner, enter data for
new master labels and send to the scanner, or program the scanner to read in the
next label as a master label.
Note
: Master Label operations are intended for use when the scanner is in a trig-
gered mode, that is with an external or serial trigger enabled.
Data Base
Database is used only when comparing entire symbols; that is, when Sequential and
Wild Card are NOT enabled, and Start Position is equal to 0.
You can set the size of your master label data base (1 to 10) and display, edit,
delete, and save associated master label data for each.
You can access master label functions in ESP by clicking
Utilities
and
Master Label
from the pull-down menus, or from the settings window, clicking the
Utilities
but-
ton and the
Master Label
tab.

display master label for #5 data in the appropriate text box. If no master label data

<I>

(by a <Z> command), cycling the power will restore that information.
