Clicking

restores the ROM default sta-

tus to RAM and resets the scanner.

Note:

If you are unable to communicate with

the scanner, you may need to perform a hard-

ware reset.

will turn the laser off. This feature is useful during extended peri-

ods of time when no bar code labels are being scanned or the scanner is being con-

figured. Disabling laser scanning will not affect any downloaded commands to the
scanner.

Note:

Disable Laser Scanning does not relate to Laser On/Off command.

Motor On

Clicking

Motor On

or sending serial command

turns the spinning mirror and

raster mirror motors on (if not already running).
Note: Spinning mirror reaches full speed after a short time delay).
