4.4.2.8.3.7 OTDR SFP Trap Support
In the SFP notifications menu, option C enables the OTDR trap generation for
Alarms. The trap definitions may be found in the MET_SFP MIB file.
There are 2 traps generated,
MetSfpOTDRFaultStart
This trap is generated when an OTDR fault is
first detected. The trap parameters include the
distance in metres to the fault.
MetSfpOTDRFaultClear
The trap is generated when the OTDR fault is
cleared. The trap parameters include the
system up time for both start and clearance of
the fault condition.
