Pull on the belt to move the transport toward the rear of the device near the image printer.
Do not
pull directly on the hopper shuttle or you may cause irreparable damage.

Trace the hopper module’s flex cable to a connector on the
HOPPER SHUTTLE
circuit board on the
top deck plate (see

Slide the outer portion of the connector out (toward the flex cable) to unlock it.

Disconnect the cable from the
HOPPER SHUTTLE
circuit board (see
). It should
require very little force. If it sticks, make sure the connector is completely unlocked.
