How to Calibrate the Touchscreen
If finger presses on the touchscreen are registering in the wrong place (for example, after replacing the
touchscreen), follow these steps:
1)
Contact MagTek Support Services for assistance signing in to the device as an administrator and
accessing the Windows desktop.
2)
Stand
in front of the device (do not sit), because calibration depends on your viewing angle and most
users will be standing in front of the device placed on a countertop.
3)
On the touchscreen’s Windows desktop, open the
Tools
shortcut to open the
Tools
folder.
4)
From the
Tools
folder, launch the
eGalaxTouch
shortcut (EC3000) or
Touchkit
shortcut
(EC2000) to open the
eGalaxTouch: USB Controller
or
Touchkit : USB Controller
window.
5)
Select the
Tools
tab.
6)
Press the
4 Points Calibration
button.
