Use your thumbs to gently spread the hooks on the original lid cover to release them, and push the lid
cover toward the floor to remove it.

Remove the cover. The image printer lid may lower itself when the cover releases.
10)
Examine the replacement release button to become familiar with the two hooks that hold it onto the
sheet metal of the image printer case.
