5.4.2 Motor Setup
The Motor Setup parameters define the motor characteristics. Normally, the default settings for E02 parameters
are determined by kVA selection (O02-04). In flux vector and open loop vector, the E02 parameters will be set
automatically during auto-tuning. At minimum, the motor rated current should be entered into E02-01.
If rotational auto-tuning cannot be performed, E02-02 and E02-05 can be calculated using the motor’s nameplate
information or by performing non-rotational auto-tuning.
Motor rated slip frequency (E02-02) can be calculated by using the following equation:
