Note:
To use alarms, the
Sample Time must be
greater than 1 second.
Enter the desired alarm threshold for the selected particle channel, in
number of particles, then press ENTER. The threshold value will be
updated on the Particle Alarm screen.
Press BACK to return to the Configuration screen or press MAIN to
return to the MAIN screen. The alarm activated channels will display a
selection cursor (>) as shown in Figure 6-33.
Note:
Alarms are
triggered per sample
record. At the end of the
sample time, the alarm is
reset.

When a particle channel that is enabled for alarming goes into alarm,
the selection cursor (>) and the channel size are highlighted in red. See
Figure 6-34.
Note:
If alarms are enabled
on two channels and the user
presses the screen to
acknowledge the alarm when
the first channel goes into
alarm, the alarm will not
sound if the second channel
threshold is reached within
the same sample period.
