IGNALS
A calibration signal can be output from the Probe Calibration Hook on
the front of the oscilloscope. The following Calibration Output Signals are
available for use:
Square Wave
- You can set a Frequency value (frequency ranges
vary based on your specific model, refer to datasheet
specifications at
www.lecroy.com
for details).
DC Level
- This is a reference level.
Off
- This function turns off the Calibration Output signal.
Date and Time
From the
Date and Time
tab on the
Utilities
dialog, you can manually set
the time and date or get it from the Internet. If you elect to get the date
and time from the Internet, you need to have the oscilloscope connected
to the Internet through the LAN connector on your instrument's I/O
panel. You can also set time zones and daylight savings time.
1.
You can
set the Date and Time manually
by providing a value in
the
Hour
,
Minute
,
Second
,
Day
,
Month
, and
Year
using your
preferred input control method - for more information regarding
the touch screen controls, refer to
Dialog Area
(on page 46). After
providing values, touch the
Validate Changes
button.
2.
You can
set the Date and Time from the Internet
by first verifying
that your oscilloscope is connected to the Internet, and then
touching the
Set from Internet
button.
Note
: The Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP) is used.
