Remarks
Tests were conducted at L-3 Avionics Systems Inc., Touchstone Systems & Services, Cessna Aircraft Co, and
DNB Engineering Inc.
The In-Flight Loss of Cooling test is not relevant because the unit does not require external cooling. Unit does
contain an internal cooling fan. During all temperature testing, internal fan opening was sealed-off to demonstrate
that loss of external cooling air would not adversely impact unit operation over temperature environment.
During vertical axis vibration (helicopter, unknown frequencies), pitch errors of up to 7° may develop with the
application of continuous sinusoidal vibration in the range of 15 to 25 Hz, at RMS g-levels of 2.5 g's.
