SECTION VI
Maintenance

P 6.6

Mount the replacement motor. Apply a small
amount of removable thread locker to the set
screw threads and secure the crank onto the
motor shaft.

Connect the electrical cable to the new motor.

Replace the front motor cover, the top cover of
the closer and the outside upper plate onto the
closer.

G. PICK SENSOR REPLACEMENT AND

ADJUSTMENT:

Disconnect power to the closer.

Remove the back cover and then the shield
(08-005852 R or L) from the closer.

Locate the pick sensor. Loosen the two locking
nuts securing the sensor to the mounting brack-
et and remove the sensor.

Disconnect the sensor electrical connector.
