B. UPPER FEEDBELT REPLACEMENT:
Figures 6.7- 6.10
1. Disconnect power to the closer.
2. Remove the outside upper plate from the clos-
er. (Figure 6.1).
3. Loosen the upper belt tensioner mounting
screw on the inside upper bogie plate and
remove the belt. Loosen the adjust pulley
bushing mounting screw of the outside upper
bogie plate and remove the belt.
4. With the belt adjustment screw(s) loose, install
the new belt(s).
5. Pull the belt(s) tight by hand and tighten the
belt adjustment screw.
6. Attach the outside upper plate on the closer by
aligning the latches to the catches located on
the side of the closer plate. Snap the outside
upper plate onto the closer.
