Troubleshooting
P 7.1
A. Bag marring.
B. Bag is not completely fed into
the closure opening.
C. Closer will not run.
PROBLEM
1) Package closed too tight.
1) Package closed too tight.
2) Bag width too wide.
3) Closure is not cammed
enough to allow bag film to
enter closure opening.
1) Electrical power to the closer
is interrupted.
SYMPTOM
1) Adjust angle of closing head
(Section II:F)
2) Pinch point of bag tensioner
brushes is set too tight.
1) Move closer back from con-
veyor.
2) Bag tensioner is too tight.
1) Move closer back from con-
veyor.
2) Closure opening is too small
to accommodate the wider
bag. Contact the factory for
instructions. (Send in a bag
sample).
1) Adjust closure cam. (Section
V:G)
1) Check that the electrical sup-
ply to the closer is always on
and is the correct voltage.
2) Check that machine on/ off
switch is in the on position.
3) Remove the back cover.
Check if the indicator lights
are on for the AC/DC convert-
er, DC/DC converter and the
controller board. If a light is
not on, for any of these com-
ponents, replace that compo-
nent.
