4.2.3 Inspecting the Flat Pattern
Stick the printed flat pattern on the lighttable, and check the noise, scratch, density unevenness on
the film.
4.2.4 Judging the Density of SMPTE Pattern

Among the eight step wedges, measure the
density of either of the four step wedges located
in the center with a densitometer
Measure the density of the printed SMPTE pattern, and judge that the output density of the
DRYPRO 771 is normal.

If the measurement falls /- D=0.05 of the
criterion, it can be judged as that the density
tone is linear, and the output density is normal.
• If any point on the step wedge does not fall within
+/- D=0.05 of the criterion, repeat the density
correction, and repeat the judgment of the density
of the SMPTE pattern.
If any abnormality is found on the printed film, refer to the "Troubleshooting" of the Service
Manual for remedy.
