Remove the six screws securing the supply unit
cover and remove the cover.

Take out the screw (1) securing the supply unit
protector and remove.
• Removing the screws and pulling the protector out
a little will free the section securing the rear of the
supply unit allowing removal of the protector.
• Next, remove the protector from the rear of the
exposure unit.
The supply unit cover is
fastened to the main
body by a hook on its
underside. To remove,
take out all the securing
screws and lift slightly.

How to remove the protective parts from the supply section following the removal of protective films
from exposure section is set out below.
When removing the
protective parts for
fixing the supply
section, be careful not
to damage the interior
of the unit with the edge
of the protective parts.
When attaching the protective parts, first remove the supply tray, then attach the
protective parts for fixing the supply section.
