(6) Percentage of allowance of thread consumption
The AW3 is able to automatically change the bobbin. However, the
bobbin changing timing can be set with the "number of stitches
(manual)" or the "thread length (auto)" using the U345 "Selection of
bobbin changing method".
If the case the bobbin changing method is set to the "thread length
(auto)", the length of thread to be consumed will be automatically
computed according to the pattern data. In this case, the "percent-
age of allowance of thread consumption" can be set as a correction
value for errors that can be caused, during automatic computation,
by the "material thickness" and "thread tension".
