18 Timeline programming (music synchronized)
Timeline programming is used to program a show which runs synchronized to a music CD played by the
integrated CD-Rom drive.
Each music CD has its own music timecode. The music timecode on CD is divided in 74 frames per second.
To enter the timeline menu press softkeys TOOLS and TILINE.
The timeline screen looks like displayed on the left side.
You can see the track on which the events will be displayed later
on. 4 cues and 32 chases can be assigned to each frame.
The softkeys of the timeline menu:
CDPLAY:
Enter menu of the CD-player
PARAM:
Enter the loop menu.
PLAY:
Start and stop of timeline show
Press one time: show starts from „ 00:00:00 „ (the softkey will be
displayed inverted)
Press again: show will Stopp. (the softkey isn´t displayed
inverted anymore).
-->PLAY:
Starts the timeline show from a certain frame which can be chosen before.
A-Play:
Plays only a defined part of the music.
RECORD:
Enter programming level of the timeline menu
EDIT:
Enter edit level
BLOCK:
define blocks
18.1 Enter a music CD
Timeline menu is activated. The timeline menu is displayed.
Press softkey CDPLAY to enter CD-player menu
Unlock the CD-Rom drive by pressing softkey UNLOCK.
(Display shows: LOCK INACTIVE)
Open the CD-Rom drive and put in a music CD.
Close it again an lock the CD-Rom drive to make sure it will not
be opened accidentally during a show. Use funktion-key LOCK.
Display will show: LOCK ACTIV
Press ESCAPE one time to leave the CD-player menu
18.2 Basic of timeline programming: LOOP
Put in a music CD like described in 22.1
Recall the timeline mainmenu and press softkey PARAM
The PARAM menu will be opened and the basic data for the
programming loop can be entered.
