17 Data storage
Data backup is performed on a formatted 3,5” floppy disc. .
17.1 Format floppy disc
Insert the floppy disc into the disc drive
Press softkey BACKUP and select the funciton FORMAT.
Confirm process by pressing the softkey YES.
The desk will count from 0 to 99 and confirm the end of the process by displaying the word: COMPLETE.
17.2 Selective data storage
Several groups of data can be stored selectively:
TILINE: Timeline data
MEMORY: Cues/Chases /Sequence Daten in Fixture- and PAR-
section
PRESET: programmed PRESETS of Fixtures
CONFIG: Config data
L-USER: data of self-defined fixtures
ALL:
all data stored in the desk
The process of backup data is executed in the same way no matter if data is stored selectively or completely.
Insert a fromatted floppy disc into the disc drive.
Press funciton-key SAVE and chose which kind/group of data
should be stored on disc.
Before the process of data storage can be executed a name for
the file has to be enterde. Use the keys of the Cues/Chases
/Sequence
section.
