11.3 The speed groups
There are 16 speed groups available to assign either combi or PAR chases.
All chases which have been assigned to the same speed group will run with the same speed.
Whenever speed of one chase in a group is changed, the rest of this speed groups chases will rearrange
their speed automatically.
The advantage of a speed group compared to the merge-function is, each chase can be recalled and run
separately
11.3.1 Integrate cases to speed groups
The speed-groups are assigned to the cue key no. 1 to no. 16.
Chases can be assigned to speed-groups either in program combi chase
or edit combi chase menu.
First create a chase and store it
on a chase key.
In the chase matrix the softkey
SGROUP will be visible.
Press this softkey and hold it.
Then press the cue of the speed-group to which you want to
assign this chase to.
The assingment to a speed-group will be shown on the display:
The speed-group is shown by the abbreviation: G
In this chase the chase was assigned to speed-group no. 1 (G1)
Additionally to the speed-group a special function will appear on the display.
The function is the synchronized start function and it is called SYNCHST.

The speed of the chase can be modified by means of the key and encoder wheel in the chase-control
section
11.3.2 Delete a chase from a speed goup
If you want to delete on chase from a speed-group proceed like this:
Press edit key of combi section. Recall the desired chase by means of the chase key. Press softkey
SGROUP. The assignment of the chase to the speed-group will be deleted immediately.
The speed of the chase will be shown in seconds and not as a speed-group (e.g. G1).
In addition the softkey SYNCHST will disappear.
