10 Chase generator
Chases can be programmed either step by step or by means of the chase generator which is much quicker
and more efficient.
There is a number of pre-rogrammed chase-patterns which can be assigned to a group of fixtures and a
fixture feature.
Chases made by means of the chase generator can be assigned with one fixture parameter only, so a chase
can be created for either colour, or gobo, or pan and tilt movement but not for a combination. If a
combination of different features is required, several chases have to be created and merged afterwards.
There are pre-rogrammend chase-patterns for different stage applications. On the first page there a chases
for fixtures hung in a line next to each other. The following pages show pre-rogrammend chase-patterns for
symmetrical stage setting and double symmetrical stage setting.
10.1 Programming with the chase generator, first steps
Recall the chase generator like this:
Press the store key in combi section.
Then press the chase-key on which the chases is going to be stored.
The programm combi chase menu will be shown on the display.
Recall the chase generator program by pressing the softkey
CREATE.
The monitor of the chase-generator looks like this:
In this example the feature Color 1 was recalled.
The monitor changes depending on the feature chosen.
According to the selected feature, different Presets can be recalled
by means of the softkeys.
There is a short manual for programming the chase generator
visible in the middle of the menu.
