After selecting the desired fixtures and programming the desired
order/sequence first, the “On” and “Off” values have to be entered.
Then the desired pattern is activated by pressing the according
softkey.
The number of steps of the whole chase will be show immediately
on the display. There will also be information on the DMX values of
the steps..
All other parameters of the chase are displayed, too in the square
marked with OPTIONS. These parameters can be altered by means
of the softkeys with the according name.
To confirm and store data press store-key of combi section.
The display will get back to the menu: PROG COMB CHASE
10.2.4 Page no. 5 of the chase generator
A standard chase usually switches between the “on” and “off”
value. If more parameter are required, page no. 5 of the chase
generator is needed. On page no. 5 a number of additional
parameters can be assigned to a chase. For instance a third
value.
In this case we use a colour chase as example:
The sketch shows a chase which contains six steps. The fixtures
switch from red to blue. (The colours are preprogrammed as
Presets).
Step no. 1:
Fixture no. 1:
red
Fixture no. 2 – 6:
blue
Step no. 2:
Fixture no. 1 and 3-6:
blue
Fixture no. 2:
red
The colour changes in each step of the chase.
To program a third colour use these softkeys:
LIST - :
recall previous step in list
LIST+ :
recall next stepin list
COPY :
Copy data from one step to another
Use softkey LIST- and LIST+ to select the chase step which should be altered
The step parameter can be changed when it is displayed inverted.
Use preprogrammed Presets (softkeys) or encoder wheels to enter desired DMX data.
The colour green has been added to the second step of the chase in our example.
After the change the chase would run like this:
