PCI Express Hot-Plug Support
The PCI Express architecture is designed to natively support both Hot-Plug and hot
remove of devices. This section defines the usage model defined for all the ATU.
ATU supports the receipt and generation of Hot-Plug messages via the
Inbound/Outbound message header registers. When a Hot-Plug message is received,
the core can then utilize the GPIOs to change the indicator lights, or conversely sample
the switch status and generate a message as appropriate.
