Since the CE 6.0 OS runtime image launched on the target device is generated with
CoreCon_v200_x86 component, and AutoLaunch_v200_x86 component to launch the CoreCon
executables when CE 6.0 starts, the target device is ready to connect to the VS2005 development
workstation.
In order to establish CoreCon connectivity, we need to know the CE 6.0 target device’s IP address.
Work through the following steps to find out the IP address:

With CE 6.0 running on the target device, from the CE 6.0 desktop, click on
Start | Run
and
launch the
CMD
command to bring up the DOS command window, as shown in Figure 45.

Click on the
OK
button to launch the DOS command window.

From the DOS command window, execute the
IPConfig
command to retrieve the target
device’s IP address information, as shown in Figure 46.
