Preparing Target Device to Connect to VS2008 IDE
VS2008 managed code application uses the same native code application’s CoreCon connectivity to
establish connection between the development workstation and target device. Follow and use the
same steps from the native code application exercise in Part-11 of this guide to establish the
connection.
Configure VS2008 Device Connectivity Settings
VS2008 Managed code application can use the same native code application’s CoreCon connectivity
with the same device connectivity settings to establish connection between the development
workstation and target device. Follow and use the same steps from the native code application
section in Part-11 of this guide to configure VS2005 device connectivity settings.
Establish Connectivity to CE 6.0 Target Device
To initiate connectivity to the target device, select
Tools | Connect to Device
from the VS2008 IDE,
to bring up the
Connect to Device
screen, as shown in Figure 84.
