Application keypad
Factory default: Unchecked
The setting of this option determines the effect of pressing keys in
the keypad on the right side of the keyboard.
When unchecked, the keypad is in numeric mode and keys will gen-
erate the characters shown on the key caps. When checked, the key-
pad is in application mode and keys will generate control functions
when pressed. The top row of four keys act as the equivalent DEC
function keys PF1 through PF4.
Application cursor keys
Factory default: Unchecked
When this option is checked the cursor keys will generate applica-
tion program codes when pressed. unchecked, the keys will generate
normal cursor movement commands.
Jump scroll
Factory default: Checked
The setting of this option determines whether data is scrolled one or
several lines at a time when the window becomes full.
When checked, data will scroll up several lines at a time as deter-
mined by the
Scroll rate
setting below.
Scroll rate
Factory default: 24
This determines the number of lines that are scrolled when the
Jump
scroll
option above is selected.
80/132 clears screen
Factory default: Checked
This option determines whether or not data is cleared from the
display when the number of columns is changed.
