Overview
This provider implements the HP FC HBA Profile which describes the behavior of Fibre Channel host
adapters supporting the SCSI (FCP) command set. A Fibre Channel adapter used in a host system is
called a Host Bus Adapter (HBA). An HBA is a physical device that contains one or more Fibre
Channel ports. A single system can contain one or more HBAs.
The following table details the profiles implemented and files installed by this provider.

Use cases
Figure 1 shows an instance example of the HP FC HBA profile for a single HBA that contains two port
controllers with one FC port each. This instance example is used in all the following use cases.
