OIL VISCOSITIES
OIL FILLER
CAP/DIPSTICK
NOTE:
Other viscosities shown in the chart may be used when
the average temperature in your riding area is within the
indicated range.
Reinstall and tighten the oil filler cap/dipstick securely.
ENGINE OIL CHANGE
NOTE:
Drain the engine oil while the engine is warm. This
ensures complete and rapid draining.
Place the scooter on its side stand.
Remove the oil filler cap/dipstick.
Place oil drain pan under the engine to collect the oil,
then remove the oil drain bolt.
After draining the oil completely check that the sealing
washer on the drain bolt is in good condition and replace
if necessary.
Install and tighten the drain bolt.
TORQUE: 24 N·m (2.4 kgf·m, 18 lbf·ft)
NOTE:
If the maintenance for the engine oil strainer screen is
scheduled, perform it before filling the crankcase with
engine oil (page 3-10).
Fill the crankcase with the recommended engine oil
(page 3-8).
ENGINE OIL CAPACITY:
0.7 liter (0.7 US qt, 0.6 lmp qt) at oil change
0.8 liter (0.8 US qt, 0.7 lmp qt) at disassembly
Install the oil filler cap/dipstick.
Check the oil level.
Make sure that there are no oil leaks.
