Remove the kickstarter driven gear while turning the
kickstarter pedal.

Remove the thrust washer.

THRUST WASHER

FRICTION SPRING

KICKSTARTER DRIVEN GEAR

Before removing the kickstarter pedal, mark the pedal
and spindle for proper installation position.

Remove the bolt (1 no.) and the kickstarter pedal.

Carefully unhook the return spring from the pin on the
crankcase cover.

Remove the snap ring and washer.
Remove the kickstarter spindle and return spring.

Remove the spindle bushing and collar.
