LIGHTS/METERS/SWITCHES

FUEL UNIT

Turn the ignition switch “ON”.
Move the fuel unit float up and down and make sure that
the fuel meter needle moves smoothly.

FLOAT UP:

Needle in “FULL”

FLOAT DOWN: Needle in “EMPTY”

If the system inspection is OK but fuel meter needle does
not move properly, replace the fuel level sensor.

FUEL UNIT INSTALLATION

Check that the base packing is in good condition,
replace if necessary.

Install the fuel unit holder plate onto the unit.
Install the fuel unit and its holder plate to the fuel tank.

Then, turn the unit holder plate to the clockwise and lock
it.

Install and lock the holder plate in such a manner that
after locking, the arrow mark of holder plate should match
with arrow mark on fuel tank

assembly.
